Do I need a credit card to start?
No. The free plan never requires a card, and Pro billing isn't live yet — early access signups won't be charged anything until it launches.
What counts as a "job request"?
Any time you contact a subcontractor through Trade Connect — via their profile or the job board — that's one request.
Are subcontractors verified?
Not independently, yet. Subs self-report their license number, insurance status, and experience, and profiles label those details as self-reported. Unclaimed directory listings come from public business information. Reviews can only be left by GCs who hired the sub through Trade Connect. Always confirm certificates of insurance before work starts.
Do you take a cut of jobs?
No. Trade Connect is not designed to charge a percentage of your project value.
